I tried dragon chicken with fried rice in a popular cafe, Arcadian, in my city. It was tasty and delicious. I really want to try that at home so I found out the main ingredients which they have put in it. I made dragon chicken with fried rice the very next day and it turned out to be amazing, yummy, delicious and very easy to cook. It hardly takes 30 minutes to cook. It can be served to 4 to 5 persons.

Ingredients for Red Chili Sauce
- 10-15 whole red chilies dry.
- 3-4 garlic cloves.
- 1 tablespoon Vinegar
- ¾ cup of Water
Take half cup of water and add all the above mentioned ingredients in it. Boil it for almost 15 minutes. Wait for some time. Water will be evaporated. Now blend it to make a fine thick paste. Red Chili paste is ready.
Ingredients for Chicken Marinating
- Chicken boneless 1kg
- Half cup corn flour
- Half cup flour
- 2 Eggs
- 1 and half tablespoon of Chili paste
- Salt as required
- 1 tablespoon Chinese salt
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 3 tablespoon Soy sauce
- Oil for fry

Marinate the chicken in all the above mentioned ingredients for at least half an hour. Deep fry the chicken and keep aside.
Ingredients for Sauce/Gravy
- 5 to 6 Whole Red chilies
- 2 long Capsicums
- 1 tablespoon of Garlic paste
- 2 to 3 tablespoons of Chili paste (Depend on your taste)
- 2 cups Chicken stock
- Half cup Chili garlic ketchup
- 1 tea spoon of sugar
- 1 cup Soy sauce
- Salt as required
In a pan add little bit of oil to sauté the whole red chilies and capsicum. Take them out in a plate. In the same pan, heat some oil and add the garlic paste. Then add the chili paste, soy sauce, chili garlic ketchup, sugar, salt and mix it well. Cook it to boil. Then add the chicken stock. Add the capsicum and whole red chilies. Also add the fried chicken and toss it. Develop the taste. Thicken the gravy with corn flour as much as you want. Voila your dragon chicken is ready.
Sprinkle it with some green onions and sesame seeds. Serve it with delicious egg fried rice.
