American Chopsuey is one of the most famous Chinese Dish. It is a mixture of crispy crunchy snacks. This recipe will give you one of the best Chopsuey taste at home. As, there is lock-down situation in every part of the world due to COVId-19, you can enjoy such food with your loved ones at home. It is made with both boiled and fried noodles. It is served with chicken and vegetable sauce.

Ingredients

  • 450 grams Spaghettis
  • One teaspoon ginger paste
  • One teaspoon garlic paste
  • One medium sized Onion (rings)
  • 2 leeks (chopped)
  • 5 green chilies (chopped)
  • 1 small Cabbage (chopped)
  • 2 carrots (in cubes)
  • 3 capsicums (in cubes)
  • 1 kg Chicken Breast (in cubes)
  • 3 glass Chicken stock
  • Salt to taste
  • Olive oil as required
  • 2 tablespoon Mustard paste
  • 4 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoon corn flour
  • 3 tablespoon Worcester Shire sauce
  • 3 tablespoon Red chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon whole red chili
  • 1 teaspoon Chinese salt
  • 1 chicken cube
  • Water as required

Take one packet of spaghetti. Break the whole spaghetti in two parts. Boil the water. Add the spaghetti in it. Take out the half spaghetti half boiled. Place it in separate bowl. Full boil the remaining spaghetti. Remove it from the stove and place it separately. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil in full boiled spaghetti.

Heat the oil on high flame. Separate the half boiled noodles in 4 parts. Take one part of half boiled noodle in one hand. Add the noodles in the pan in round shape. Stir fry the noodles. Fry the noodles completely until it turns golden. Take out the basket shape noodles from the pan when it’s in crunchy form. Repeat the same procedure 3 times for the remaining half boiled noodles and make 3 more crunchy noodles baskets.

Preparation for Chicken Stock.

Take a pressure cooker. Add 1 quarter chicken in it. Add 4 glasses of water in it. Add one teaspoon of salt in it. Add half chicken cube in it. Let it boil. When the chicken is completely boiled, remove the chicken stock from the flame. Take out the chicken from chicken stock. Shred the chicken. Add the shredded chicken again in stock.

Directions for Chicken Material

Take a pan. Add 4 tablespoons of olive oil in it. Add the ginger and garlic paste in it. Stir fry it. Add the chicken in it. Stir fry it. Add the onion rings and carrots in it. Mix it well. Add the leek and green chilies in it. Mix it well. Add the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Chinese salt, vinegar, chili sauce, mustard paste, black pepper, salt, chicken cube, red chili whole powder in it. Mix all the ingredients well. Add the capsicum and cabbage in it. Mix it well. Chopsuey material is ready.

Preparation for Chopsuey Sauce

Add the chicken material in chicken stock. Mix it well. Take a bowl and add 4 tablespoons of cornflour in it. Add 2 tablespoons of water in it. Mix it well. Add the cornflour in Chopsuey sauce and mix it well. Chopsuey sauce is ready.

Preparation for Final Representation

Take a serving dish. Add one layer of full boiled noodles in it. Take the fried noodles baskets and break it into pieces. Add the layer of fried noodles. Now add the final layer of chopsuey sauce.

Voila Restaurant Style Homemade American Chopsuey is ready to serve. It can be served to 6 persons.
